-
- Ya, I know what you mean. We shouldn't _have_ to get _use_ to
- being treated like dirt. The rotten authors, (not their programs),
- give a bad name, to the good/supporting authors.

-
- Good question, I don't. It just sounded female. I had thought you
- were a male, and didn't even think that Val, may be a female name.
- Of course it could be due to your .sig file, with the 'wargames'
- in there, that gave you away, as being of the male persuasion.
- My mind, probably, just unconsiously, hooked-up, wargames=male...

-
- My life history too, sad to say, with a lot of them.

-
- I never used the GUI for UUxT. Looked at it, though. I found it
- easier to use from the shell. Once I get my harddrive back on my
- computer, and use Opus again, I'll probably be in the same state,
- you are now.
-
- > BTW you quoted from the newsgroup post to email.
-
- Nope, I didn't. Your message/mail came to my mailbox, and I replied
- to you, from there. (as in ==> go mail + 'r'eply to your letter...)
- This letter here, is also in my mailbox, but am replying off-line
- in a text editor, then I will call back freenet, and upload this
- reply, as being the reply to the letter in my mailbox.
-
- > How did you do that? I have been wanting to do that but am not

-
- I know what probably happened. When you were in the newsgroup, and
- you wanted to post a reply, you probably hit the 'r', key on your
- keyboard, instead of the 'f' key. Just got out my help notes...
-
- While in the newsgroups - commands:
-
- 'r' -- Send an electronic mail message (reply) to the author
- of the current article. If you have chosen an editor
- the article will be included in the edit buffer.
-
- 'f' -- Post a follow-up to the current article to the board.
- If you have chosen an editor the article will be
- included in the edit buffer.
-
- 'h' -- Prints a list of all the possible commands. (Help)

-
- Great to have these freenet boards, eh?
-
- I'm going to go and see, if I can get our letter, here, back into the
- comp.sys.amiga.applications newsgroup, under the Re: UUdecode split
- files? entry. To have a reply go to the author of the written article,
- hit your 'r' key, and to have the reply in the newsgroup, hit your
- 'f' key.
-
- Bye for now. from Charlene
